Family Health Enterprise clinic on Estoria Street will be closing Feb 17, 2006
Family Health Enterprise has given notice of the closing of the 177-B Estoria Street clinic on February 17, 2006. The clinic has served the citizens of Cabbagetown and nearby communities for over ten years. FHE also opperates a clinic at 1350 Boulevard and welcomes anyone wishing to receive health care from our organization to visit that location.
Dear Citizens of Cabbagetown and surrounding communities,
It is with regret that Family Health Enterprise must give notice that we will be closing our 177-B Estoria Street clinic on February 17, 2006.
It has been our pleasure in serving the citizens of Cabbagetown and nearby communities for over ten years. By invitation, our first clinic opened on 97 Estoria Street in 1995; and, several years later at 177-B Estoria. Our Mission is to serve communities with under-served populations. With the revitalization over the past several years, we now find ourselves in a community that is meeting their health care needs successfully through other health care services.
The clinic is not easily accessible to those outside of Cabbagetown, who must often travel by bus with small children. And as the clinic population is rapidly growing, I believe that if we encouraged those who do drive to come to the Estoria site, the cars would become an encumbrance on the serenity of this community.
We will miss being a direct part of this community. Our clinic at 1350 Boulevard is not far away and we welcome anyone wishing to receive health care from our organization to visit us at that location. (A number of you are already coming down south.)
We provide health care services to men, women and children, with and without insurance. If you have any questions reagarding whether we can assist with your health care needs, please call us (404) 635-1300; or come to 1350 Boulevard Avenue SE.
Sincerely,
Dorothy K Gallaway, CFNP
Director, Family Health Enterprise
